Steel Sound brings upbeat, fun, Caribbean music to Mosaic’s main stage. This steel drum trio covers calypso, reggae, pop and jazz, always with a Caribbean flavor. They are experienced musicians with a great group dynamic, making for entertaining and energetic performances.
Leader Patrick Fitzgibbon has steel drummed his way throughout Michigan and around the world performing on cruise ships.

Welcome to Mosaic 2012
The Michigan Mosaic Music Festival is a public celebration of diversity and unity on Labor Day weekend in Michigan’s capital city.
The event is staged over Labor Day weekend in cooperation with Michigan Institute for Contemporary Art, the labor community, and the City of Lansing. Activities include multicultural dance, music, activities, cuisine and live bands.
This year’s festival will take place Friday, August 31 through Sunday, September 2, 2012.
